BEHIND THE SCENE
The elephant is the largest land animal on Earth.
It symbolizes strength, wisdom, intelligence and power, and because of that it’s revered in many countries.
Elephants are also a symbol of loyalty and trust, because of their tight-knit family bonds and complex social lives.
I’m always intrigued by images where the subject is not totally revealed — the see/not see effect.
I initially passed by this image while editing, only to come back later and discover the gentle gesture of the elephant baby reaching out for its mom with its trunk.
